1) Reiki

  • Amber is trained, certified and practiced in the tradition of Usui Shiki Ryoho. Reiki is a gentle form of energy work, utilizing the universal, omnipresent life force that flows in and around every living thing. The vibration of this energy is akin to that of unconditional love. Within the sacred space of a Reiki session, Amber acts as a conduit for the energy to be channeled and focused into your energy field. When the vibration of your personal electromagnetic field meets the purifying frequency of Reiki, many blocks and densities within your subtle and physical bodies will naturally begin to dissolve. All your systems will instinctively shift toward harmony and balance. This circulation and release of energy can trigger deep relaxation, a clarity of mind and emotions, a peaceful sense of grounding, a heightened connection to joy, an experience of ease, an opening of trust and the illumination of profound insights.

  • The lightness of energy transcends time and physical space, which allows Reiki to be "sent" to anyone in the world from any location. Think of it like radio waves traveling invisibly through the air. Simple, focused intention and attention is all it takes to tune-in to a specific “station” and transmit healing from one person to another.

  • It is not necessary to do anything different or special in order to receive the healing benefits from a distance session. However, it can be a profound experience to sit or lay in meditation and feel the energy as it is channeled to you. We also recommended that you do not schedule your service during a time when you know you will be driving, operating heavy machinery or otherwise occupied in deep concentration.

  • No. Reiki itself is simply a neutral, loving frequency being channeled into your energy field. Amber practices an enhanced form of Reiki which combines clairsentient and clairvoyant techniques in order to tune into data being emitted from within your personal energy field. These revelations will be relevant to the issues you present at the start of the session. Any intentions or details you share regarding your issues act as illumination along the pathway of enlightenment. Amber can then gaze into the thread of possibilities related to your inquiries. She will only be capable of transmitting information as it is made available from your Higher Self.

2) Location

  • We’re located in the West Town/Ukrainian Village area of Chicago right on the corner of Wood & Chicago Ave. Bus line #66 stops nearby.

  • My office is the last door on the right at the end of the hallway

  • The studio is located within the Medical Building and is a shared office space with 2 other therapists. There is a small waiting area inside the office. If you’re waiting in the office, please speak softly as there may be other massages in session. If you arrive and the outer entrance door is locked, please email or text me to let me know you’ve arrived and I’ll be out to get you ASAP.

3) Appointments

  • You can arrive at the start time of your session or up to 15 minutes early. There is a comfortable couch in the waiting room.

  • No, just your beautiful self! For a Reiki or Tarot session, I do recommend wearing comfortable clothes.

  • No. Friends, partners, children or pets are not permitted to attend your appointment unless it is for medical support. This is a time for you to fully engage and be present with yourself. The presence of another can potentially cause your energy or body to be guarded from healing or releasing.

  • No. Any alterations or additions to your services must be arranged prior to your arrival.

  • All information shared during sessions is considered sacred and private and will not be disclosed to other parties.

  • All cancellations or changes must be made at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to $1/minute in accordance with your originally scheduled appointment length.

4) Payments

  • I accept payment through PayPal, Venmo, Square or cash.

  • No. Tips are always appreciated but never required or expected.

5) Workshops

  • A Reiki attunement is a ceremony of energetic rites passed down to you from a Certified Reiki Master Teacher. The process creates a pathway or portal in which wisdom and symbols of the Usui Reiki tradition are channeled and transferred directly into your aura and electromagnetic field. Through the power of intention and ritual, an attunement permanently raises the frequency of your subtle body, immediately triggering densities and energetic blocks to dissolve, creating a more clear connection to spirit and your Higher Self. Each attunement received is like raising the dimmer on a lightbulb. The results can be palpable and profound, leading to a more clear connection to intuition, a more grounded interconnectedness with the world and an incredible lightness of being.

  • There is no standard protocol for the amount of time to be spent between each level. I have known people to receive all three attunements within weeks of each other while others spend months or even years between each attunement. Personally, I waited four weeks between Level One and Two, then 18 months between Level Two and Three. Our interaction with the subtle world and with Reiki energy is unique and personal. With the guidance of your Higher Self, your Reiki teacher and spirit, you will know when it is time to progress.

  • We understand that, sometimes, things change. If you can no longer make it to your workshop, please email us at least 7 days before the scheduled event date. No refunds will be given to cancelations made within a week of the class or workshop.
